OUR STORY
The InspireHer Chapter of the American Businesswomen’s Associations (ABWA) began as an idea of Teresa Williams. Teresa, a long-time member of ABWA, always had aspirations to lead and form a local chapter within her community for women to congregate and share knowledge to support one another. Through sharing her idea with a group of ladies with a desire to be part of a group such as this, the Charter Formation team was formed.
From idea to reality, Teresa Williams, Jennifer Bussey, Crystal Pryear, Tara Bueford, Celnah Colbert, Whitney Baugh, Vanessa Mann, and Diometra Aldridge worked collectivity to create an organization within the Gwinnett County, Georgia community where women of all walks of life can be empowered to live their dreams. On July 25, 2020, just seven months later, the InspireHer Chapter chartered with 44 charter members.
